Immersed in the book are beautiful letters, written by the author to her Great - Grandson, who passed at twenty- nine days old. What started as a way of coping with his death ended up in reaching out to other's who have suffered the loss of a loved one. The Skyler Letters are unique, giving the reader a lovely message from a Great- Grandmother to a glimpse of heaven from a child's perspective. Cynthia hopes that the letters will bring peace to those who will read them. After losing her sister, Cynthia took to her pen again and wrote stories about her pain, hoping to help others.
